Thomas PARRISH was born 2nd April 1860 at Foxground, NSW.

He married Susannah MOFFITT on 16th December 1885 at Kiama, NSW.

Mary was born in 1864 in Kiama, NSW, the daughter of John Moffitt and Caroline (Johnson).

They left Gerringong and moved to the North Coast of NSW and was one of the pioneers of that district.

They returned to Gerringong after retirement.

Two of their sons, Albert and Thomas Lindsay died in World War I.

Upon retirement, Thomas served several terms as Alderman of Gerringong Municipal Council.

Thomas and Susannah had 8 children:

  2. Albert 1888 - 1918
  3. Emily Jane 1889 - 1957
  4. Susannah Myrtle 189- 1976
  5. Daisy 1892 - 1892
  6. Ivy 1893 - 1987
  7. Thomas Lindsay 1896 - 1917
  8. Sidney Moffitt 1898 - 1978

Susannah died 20th May 1898 in Foxground, NSW aged only 34.

Thomas married on 28th November 1900 in Jamberoo to Amelia Smith, daughter of James Smith and Rebecca (Wells).

They had one daughter:

  1. Amelia Ellen (Nell) 1901 - 1972

Thomas died 2nd August 1939 in Gerringong, NSW aged 79.

Amelia died 5th July 1961 in Gerringong, NSW aged 95.

They are buried together in Gerringong Angican Cemetery.
