Oliver PARRISH was born 5th November 1865 in Foxground, NSW.

He married Caroline MOFFITT on 21st June 1888 at Kiama, NSW.

Mary was born 31st December 1865 in Gerringong, the daughter of John Moffitt and Caroline (Johnston).

Oliver purchased a dairy farm at Myocum, near Mullumbimby, NSW.

They had 11 children:

  5. Ernest 1895 - 1967
  6. Bertie 1897 - 1961

  9. Lindsay 1902 - 1988
  10. Alice 1904 - 1904
  11. Ethel 1906 - 1989

Caroline died in childbirth on 10th September 1906 in Myocum, NSW aged 40.

After Caroline's death, the eldest daughter, Daisy, looked after the family including the newborn Ethel.

They sold the farm at Myocum and took a selection at Stalworth near Proston in Queensland.

In later years, Oliver suffered from Parkinson's Disease.

He suffered injuries from a fall in a packing shed and died in Nambour Hospital on 26th August 1937 aged 71.

He and Caroline are buried in Mullumbimby Cemetery.
