Jesse WATTS and Sarah Ann STEADMAN were married on 23rd April 1861 in Jamberoo, NSW.

Jesse was born in Kent in 1839.

Sarah was born 24t December 1840 in Stoke, Kent.

She was the daughter of George and Kezia Steadman who came to NSW on 14th February 1842 on board the ship "Sir Edward Paget".

Jesse was a dairy farmer.

They lived in Jamberoo until about 1875 when they moved to Meroo Meadow north of Nowra.

Jesse and Sarah had 9 children:

  9. Sarah 1878 - 1878

Sarah died 9th August 1878 in Meroo Meadow, NSW aged 37.

William remarried in 1879 to Sarah Ann Barnes, daughter of James and Winifred Barnes.

They had one child:

  1. Viola Ethel Florence 1883 - 1969

Sarah died 22nd April 1905 in Cambewarra, NSW.

Jesse died 2nd November 1922 in Berry, NSW.

They are buried together in Nowra Methodist Cemetery.

He is buried in Bangalow Cemetery.

Caroline died 16th February 1925 in Numulgi, Terania, NSW aged 83

She is buried in the Methodist section, Bexhill Cemetery.
