He married Augusta Wilhemina Maria BERG on 12th April 1874 at Nerang Creek, Qld.

Augusta was born 18th September 1857 in Arnsdorf, Prussia, the daughter of Frederick Berg and Maria (Muller).

Frederick work for the council.

They had 10 children:

Augusta died 27th May 1937 in Berry, NSW aged 79.

Frederick died 9th August 1949 in Nowra, NSW aged 95.

They are buried together in Berry Angican Cemetery.
