On 12 November 1872, she married John Joseph Burke at Kings Plains, a farmer and miner, native of Kilkenny, Ireland. The son of John and Johanna Burke.

John died 22 July 1931 in Sydney aged 84.

They are both buried in the RC section of Blayney Cemetery
