Charles Jeremiah PARRISH was born 18th July 1861 at Foxground, NSW.

He married Sarah Jane SMITH on 11th March 1885 at Albion Park, NSW.

Sarah was born 3rd December 1860 in Toolijooa, NSW, the daughter of James Smith and Rebecca (Wells).

Charles was employed at "Barton Park" Station near Wallerawang.

He later managed a hotel at Baulkham Hills and eventually moved to dairying at "Fernleigh", Tintenbar near Bangalow on the North Coast.

Charles and Sarah had 2 children:

  1. Charles Ivor 1886 - 1968
  2. Edward James 1887 - 1918

Sarah was severely burnt attending a camp oven at their home at Lidsdale near Wallerawang.

She was taken 14 miles by horse and dray to hospital. She died 3 months later on 22nd February 1899 in Lidsdale, NSW aged 38.

Thomas married again on 28th November 1900 in Jamberoo to Harriet Smith, younger sister of Sarah.

They had one daughter:

  1. Harriet Rose Vera 1901 - 1979

Charles died 21st September 1905 at "Fernleigh" Tintenbar, NSW aged 44.

He is buried in Bangalow Cemetery

Amelia died 21st June 1968 in Sydn ey, NSW aged 90.
