Albert WHITE was born 15th May 1865 at Yateyattah near Ulladulla, NSW

His father was Samuel White a sawyer and farmer, his mother was Ann (nee Murphy).

He married Alice Ann PARRISH at Foxground and had 9 children:

  4. Myrtle Edith 1891 - 1928
  5. Alice Ann (Annie) 1893 - 1942
  6. Walter James (Jimmy) 1894 - 1975
  7. Sidney 1896 - 1953
  8. Morton Charles David (Mortie) 1897 - 1963
  9. Cecil Dawson 1898 - 1980

 

After Alice died of pneumonia in 1899, he married Emma Keevers.

They had 4 more children:

  1. Garnet Stanley Norman "Stan" 1900 - 1990
  2. Elena Rose 1901 - 1969
  3. Lindsay Tennyson 1910 - 1940
  4. Amy "Clarice" 1917 - 1979

Emma died on 15th January 1934 at Berry.

Besides his main residence "St Elmo" near Berry Railway Station, Albert had a number of properties around Berry, Kangaroo Valley and Wollongong.

"Moeyan Farm" at Farmeadow, "Willow Vale" at Wattamolla and 3 houses in Wollongong.

In 1934, he married Jessie Catterall in Wollongong.

 

He died suddenly on 20 August 1935 and is buried in Wollongong Cemetery.
