This hobby began in 1980. At that time I knew only a few relatives on my father's side.

My father's parents, Ivy and Lance Patterson both died before I was born and I was interested to know more about their stories.

I'm happy to share with others who are searching their ancestors and ask if you can add anything to my records.

All my ancestors came to Australia from England, Ireland and Scotland between 1808 and 1857.

Three were convicts: Mary Kelly, Mary Webb and Samuel White
